The Can Cook Pop Up Studio:

The Can Cook Pop Up Studio is a unique and innovative way of delivering healthier messages in workplaces, communities, schools, city centre spaces and events. The Pop-Up Studio gets people excited about and inspired to cook healthier meals from scratch.

How it Works:

We set up a temporary cookery studio in indoor and outdoor spaces to teach your clients or service users how to cook. The approach is tried and tested – proving to be highly effective with all ages.

It has been proven to offer a successful activity for Team Building, Schools Groups and at Community and Public Events and teaches valuable cookery skills – inspiring an interest in food and cookery.

Getting creative with cookery:

Using qualified chefs who are also skilled presenters, we take the quality and variety of street-food directly to businesses/schools/universities/communities – we teach, they learn, they go home and cook.

Street-food to us means the food cooked on the streets of towns and cities across the world – we will go live with the food from Countries such as Thailand, Mexico, Italy and India – each day will have a rotating theme of one of each of those countries.

If you have a particular menu or theme in mind we can arrange to design menus to suit.

Each session will last 30 minutes and includes 10 people. The session will start with a chef demonstration and then each of the 10 will cook their own meal to take home – everyone will leave with a recipe to try again at home. We run up to 5 sessions per day.

Setting up the Pop Up Studio:

The Studio will contain;

• A chef demonstration area

• 10 cookery stations with induction cookers.

• A sink for hand washing.

• A waiting area if your space allows – we can provide seating.

• A gallery space to enable people to watch each demonstration

• A signing up and signing out area – to facilitate each cookery session and gather evaluation documents should you require these.

Outdoor Pop-Up Studio

If you do not have a suitable inside space we can set up outside in a marquee and provide the same format of cookery sessions. The marquee we use is 9m by 6m unless you particularly request a large gallery space for your own promotion and for larger numbers to view the sessions.
