What is MealVend?
MealVend is a 24-7 canteen solution, a vending machine that dispenses meals cooked from scratch without the need for kitchen and catering staff.
This is how it works :
- We lease the vending machine to you
- We cook the fresh, Zero-UPF meals and fill the reusable, trackable, microwavable dishes for your staff
- Staff log in, pre order and pay on their phone/desktop for the desired meals
- We fill the vending machines 2-3 times a week, this can be more dependent on usage
- Staff head to the vending machine scan the phone and the meal they have ordered is dispensed.
- Staff scan their dispensed dish at the microwave, and it is heated to the correct temp for the contents
- Once eaten they return in the drop box which scans the dish back into circulation

- Creamy fish pie with glazed carrots
- Thai red chicken curry, rice and broccoli
- Carrot and cheese flapjack, roast potatoes, vegetables and our signature gravy (v)
- Paneer and chickpea tikka masala with rice (v)
- Hoi sin mushrooms with noodles and vegetables (vg)
- Cajun soup, spicy tomato and kidney bean soup (vg)
- Broccoli and cheese soup (v)
- Coronation cauliflower and chickpea salad (vg)
- Sweet potato, lentils, pickled red onion & goats cheese (v)
Social Impact: As a social food business, we reinvest our profits to offer cookery training, recipe packs, and ready meals to those in need. Packaging: Our packaging is 100% reusable, and being dedicated to serving only Zero-UPF food, we boast one of the most sustainable vending machines globally. For parts of our business where reusable packaging isn’t feasible, we’ve minimized wrapping size by half and switched to home compostable and recyclable materials, recognizing that caring for the planet knows no income bounds.
Energy: We fuel our kitchen with solar power and have a firm target to transition our entire fleet to 100% electric by 2025.
