LET’S TALK ABOUT GOOD, FRESH FOOD…
OLDER PEOPLE HAVE VERY DEFINED EATING HABITS – THEY LIKE TO EAT MEALS THEY HAVE EATEN ALL THEIR LIVES. WE MAKE SURE EVERYONE EATS WHAT THEY LIKE MOST.
We have extensive experience of designing and delivering good fresh meals to schemes that provide services to older people. Our aim is to provide meals that maintain healthy & active lives. We only cater fresh produce and avoid as much as possible, avoid any use of processed products.
What do we offer?
We offer the following services designed to help improve the food quality and management of a food service offered in care, extra care or sheltered accommodation schemes.
- Full kitchen management: We will manage day to day kitchen services necessary to run a healthy scheme.
- Meal only: We provide a meal only service. We produce and deliver fresh meals into schemes as and when required

All of our menus are chef designed and produced in our purpose-built production kitchen. Our 5-star kitchen is food-safe and together with our new fleet of vehicles, we are able to provide an end-to-end solution that means every older person will have a great meal, every time they sit down to eat.
“Well-Fed provide our Extra Care Schemes with healthy, nutritionally balanced meal options that mean tenants can be assured that what they are eating is good for them. They have plenty of choice from hearty British based family favourites to more exotic Asian or Moroccan style dishes. There is usually a meal option to suit most people’s tastes. We work closely with the team at Well-Fed to ensure our tenants expectations are met and it is good to know they like to listen to the feedback we give”
-Carol Thomas, Senior Extra Care Manager, ClwydAlyn Housing Association.
Allergies and Intolerances
Allergen management is an important aspect of our work and all our staff are trained in allergen management. The meals provided as part of our chilled meal delivery service come labelled with a full list of allergens.
We continually review all our practices in compliance with ‘Natasha’s Law’.
Like food, we are all unique and the adherence to follow a specific religious or cultural diet is often required. While it may not be possible to accommodate everyone, working with our customers, we will provide guidance on best practice to adapt a dish by leaving out or substituting ingredients.
