Well-Fed Meal Hubs
Delivering our delicious meals to centres across North Wales.

Well-Fed Meal hubs

At Well-Fed we recognise the incredible work different groups are already doing in their communities. That’s why we have created partnerships with the people who know their communities best.

For any centre already providing a service, whether that be a coffee morning, knitting group or warm space we want to enhance this service by giving people the opportunity to order our meals at their convenience.

We’re also interested in minimising our carbon emissions and delivering door-to-centre does just that.

Becoming a Meal Hub

At Well-Fed we are working to make good food affordable, keep children healthy, and help more people to cook from scratch at home.

That’s why we’re partnering with local communities to make it happen!

Take a look through our FAQs to see whether the hub service is for you.

If you require more information on becoming a meal hub, please contact faith@cancook.co.uk

Setting up our hub was quick and simple!

Meal Hub FAQs

Hubs are designed to allow easy access to food within communities. Your community members order their food through our till system and then we deliver to your centre for collection.

Our meals cater for everyone, whatever their food preferences or dietary requirements. We have traditional options, vegetarian options and options for those looking to try something new. We deliver a taster session to each hub before you commit, so that we can describe the service to your community members, and they can taste the food. We are confident they will love it!

For anyone in Flintshire setting up is completely free for the first 15 hubs! For anyone outside of Flintshire, setting up a hub does not require much financial investment. You will be required to buy the till equipment and a fridge to store the meals in upon delivery. Generally, funding of around £1000 will be required.

You will be required to take the orders from your community members using the simple-to-use till equipment, and then facilitate the distribution of customer orders when they arrive to collect their meals. All of the meal orders will be delivered each week by one of our helpful drivers and will be labelled with each customer name.
